Newcastle Borough Council

Newcastle Borough Council is the host Local Authority in the Area of Major Intervention and has been integral to the development of the RENEW North Staffordshire programme to date. They will continue to have an active input in the AMI from a strategic perspective throughout the duration of the intervention.

Aspire Housing

Newcastle-based Aspire Housing has been asked by Newcastle Borough Council to lead the delivery of the RENEW North Staffordshire programme in Knutton Cross Heath. Aspire Housing is working closely with the Knutton Cross Heath Neighbourhood Management Pathfinder to engage with local residents, business owners and partner organisations working in the area, to make sure all are involved in the programme.

Knutton Cross Heath Neighbourhood Management Pathfinder

The Knutton Cross Heath Neighbourhood Management Pathfinder (NMP) will ensure that a ‘Neighbourhood Management’ approach is adopted within RENEW North Staffordshire intervention, which will further improve and reshape public services for local residents, and keep disruption to an absolute minimum throughout the programme. The NMP will be involved in planning community engagement and consultation and co-ordinating communications and information.

English Partnerships

English Partnerships is the national regeneration agency, with the aim of delivering high quality, sustainable growth in England. English Partnerships is working with key partners in the delivery of the RENEW North Staffordshire programme and is directly involved within the Knutton Cross Heath Area of Major Intervention having acquired the former Collins and Aikman site on Lower Milehouse Lane. A mixed tenure residential led development is planned and will act as a catalyst for the regeneration of the wider area. English Partnerships has identified North Staffordshire including Knutton Cross Heath as a strategic priority, demonstrating our continued commitment to the area.
