| RESIDENTS FRIEND SERVICE
The Resident’s Friend Service offers
free, independent, impartial and confidential advice on issues surrounding
the housing market renewal proposals currently being put forward
by Renew.
We can give individually tailored advice about
how housing market renewal affects people, including advice on rehousing
options, compensation and other advice issues such as benefits.
Residents’ friends can help to make sure
that the public understands the Renew proposals by translating jargon,
answering questions and making sure that people have the information
that they need.
As part of the Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) Residents’
Friends are independent and impartial and aim to feedback the views
of the residents to the Renew team and support residents' involvement
in the consultation process.
There are several Resident’s Friends
working across North Staffordshire. The Resident’s Friend
for the Knutton Cross Heath AMI is Emily Tomkinson.
