THE STREET REP SCHEME RENEW North Staffordshire, Newcastle Borough Council and the Knutton Cross Heath Neighbourhood Management Pathfinder have launched a brand new scheme in your neighbourhood to help further improve communication with you. It iscalled the Street Rep Scheme and the aim is to have a Street Rep volunteer for every street in the neighbourhood. Currently we have recruited Street Reps for nearly 50% of the neighbourhood’s roads but would always like to hear from other residents interested in finding out what is the latest news affecting their home. The streets covered with at least one active Street Rep are as follows:- Albemarle Road, Ashfields Court, Audley Street, Boland Avenue, Cemetery Road, Chapel Street, Charter Road, Cheviot Close, Church Lane, Cotswold Avenue, Derwent Place, Downham Road, Gordon Street, High Street, John Street, King Street, Knutton Lane, Lawson Terrace, Lower Milehouse Lane, Malham Road, Meadow Lane, Nash Street, Orton Road, Peak Street, Pentland Grove, Poplar Avenue, Poplar Close, Rogers Avenue, Ronaldsway Drive, Silverdale Road, St Bernards Road, Weston Close, Wilmot Drive, Wilton Street. The role of the Street Rep is to provide accurate up to date information to residents about regeneration activities happening in their neighbourhood. We will ensure that Street Reps are kept fully informed about the RENEW North Staffordshire Housing Market Renewal Programme and other activities to enable them to pass on the information to their friends and neighbours. Street Reps are supported and advised by a co-ordinator. In the Knutton/Cross Heath area the scheme is run by the Knutton Cross Heath Neighbourhood Management Pathfinder (NMP) and the co-ordinator is Laurence Reardon.
